For DNA it does not matter if the transactions attempt to go online as the pass criteria is all checked pre-host transmission – so it does not matter if the transaction is declined.

As DNA do not have a host simulator, the DNA tests are designed not to care what happens if the terminals attempt to go online.  All the pass criteria is pre the online transmission and the terminal can handle the decline or decline/approve offline.
